This fabric has a few key characteristics, most of which are in the name itself. First, it's crafted from 100% merino wool, which imbues the textile with performance characteristics that make it moisture wicking, antimicrobial, insulating, and resilient. It's also created with Donegal-style yarns, which are flecked with contrasting colors than add a heathered, tweed-like texture. Lastly, these yarns were woven in a bouclé style, which means little loops of yarn rise to the surface of the fabric for increased texture and unbelievable softness. Form and function come together at every step, which is no surprise given that this fabric is from Vitale Barberis Canonico, the oldest textiles mill in the world.
